According to the statistical data, 90% of security breaches are caused by the incorrect use of equipment or by non-compliance with the existing security & emergency procedures.
Well-rehearsed existing procedures constitute a vital part of any security plan.
Adequate staff training is often underestimated; however the most sophisticated security system will become ineffective if your staff, especially Heads of Departments, have not been correctly instructed.
Part of our responsibility is to train the personnel, not only at the initial stage but also after the systems and procedures have been implemented, and at certain intervals afterwards - to ensure the knowledge of procedures is kept the up-to-date (this is particularly useful if you have a high employee turnover).
Alternatively, we can supply and train a security co-ordinator at your request, whose tasks will include:
- Maintaining existing security systems
- Ensuring security measures are implemented and tested continuously
- Overseeing contingency plans and dealing with bomb threats, suspect packages and possible evacuation
- Deciding when to re-occupy premises after they have been evacuated
- Liaising with the police, other emergency services and local authorities
- Arranging staff training and drills
- Conducting regular reviews of security measures and procedures.
We also offer individually tailored training targeted at staff travelling to or being deployed to high-risk territories wishing to acquire the basic knowledge of living and working in dangerous environments.
